Digital economy encompasses opportunities ranging from web development, digital marketing to artificial intelligence (AI) developers. Academic degrees are not always a requirement to become a developer. This opens up an opportunity for everyone to get trained in programming.

Eligibility

18+ years of age, basic computer literacy is important. Having regular access to a computer and zeal to learn are other important factors. A student should be able to spend at least 4 hours a week in module 1 and 10+ hours a week in both 2nd and 3rd modules. Scholarships requests are considered on a case by case evaluation.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP

10 weeks

Spend at least 4 hours a week learning how to market your idea in this connected world. Refine the value proposition, identify the consumer and segment the market. The goal is to learn how to market yourself and find opportunities within the digital economy.

PROGRAMMING

16 months

Spend at least 12 hours a week on learning programming concepts. The topics will range from basics such as binary number system to high end concepts such as records, events etc. A versatile language such as Python or Java will be taught along with hands-on project.

APP DEVELOPMENT

16 months

Spend at least 12 hours a week on learning app development. Leverage the concepts and hands-on experience learned in previous two modules and launch an app through play store. The goal is to learn end to end processes involved in launching a functional tool.
